Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee: Patterson displayed today some of the same concerns that we had with him during film study. He was choppy in and out of his breaks, and did not display fluidity on his routes. Throughout his workout, he let the ball get into his body and struggled to catch the ball cleanly. Early in the workout he caught the ball extremely well, but as the workout went on he dropped some passes he should easily have caught. As expected, he ran extremely well (unofficial 4.37 40), but he is far from a polished product, despite being so highly regarded in some circles. **More concerning is that we heard that Patterson has been very unimpressive in interviews, which will likely lead to him sliding down draft boards

But upon further review of all the players, I'm finding a hard time naming 32 players I'd rather have than he, so I don't think he'll be a reach in the first. But I still like Hunter more by a decent margin.

It still won't make him a top 10 pick, maybe he could sneak into the 2nd round though.

Brandon Jenkins didn't play this season and it showed. He's struggled every time I've seen him today. Balance, cutting, and stiffness are problems today. Does not look natural. I don't like highlighting guys until all the on-field drills are done but he's been the worst of the bunch thus far, including in LB drills with just the conversion guys.

Small issue at this point considering I didn't see alot of him but Damontre Moore's body language today was bad and then he got hurt on his 2nd 40 (not recorded). His day may be over with. Not crushing but not positive for a guy with off-the-field/immaturity concerns. Poor early numbers, too.

Just stop. I feel bad that your only exposure to Patterson is youtube clips. It must have been a lot of work to go through all his highlights and choose that clip to show. How about the rest of the game against Vanderbilt? Where he showed the strong catch away from the body plucking the ball out of the air. Or the punt return for TD, or the rushing yards out of the back field. Here you go:
