I wonder if the nba free throw became an automatic...i wonder what the league average is? Maybe that should go too.Previously, the extra point had a 99.5% success rate in the NFL.
The purpose is to not make it pointlessly automatic tedium or chore.
Great change. No point in running a play with a 99% success rate. Teams will now be forced to make more interesting choices throughout the game and a 2 point conversion is a hell of a lot more exciting than a chip shot extra point that you might see 1 missed all year if you're lucky. Best part? I think there will be more teams losing by 1 point now. That's exciting.
75% league average is what I found.I wonder if the nba free throw became an automatic...i wonder what the league average is? Maybe that should go too.
You did a good job on the internet today.Last year 99.3% of PAT attempts were converted - 1217 of 1225.
Last year 93.6% of FG inside 40 yards were converted (too lazy to look up 32 and in) - 523 of 559.
So, let's replace what's always been there with something nearly as automatic.
The only thing this changes is - nothing. Since teams were still successful on just 47% of two-point conversions last season.
When it comes to stats like this blstoker is king. You did a good job on the internet today.
Spot on.
Yeah. It adds excitement to the game. I don't really care either way, and in fact, I like the old system better, but if it contributes to the value of the games, then it is beneficial.Great change. XP rule change would have been better IF it was from the 45 yard line...15 Yardline makes no sense...ridiculous GooDell.
