Been watching a bunch of old Superbowl games. on the NFL Network this weekend.

Talk about frustration. No team has ever lost as many playoff games as the Buffalo Bills. There are people that seriously believe that 2023 will be their year to win the Super Bowl. Sorry folks, I think that their window is just about closed. AS Patriots fans, we certainly shouldn't be bitchin' about our teams over the past 22 years.

Did you know??

Between 1988 and 1995 3except for 1992 (2nd) and 1994 (4th) the Buffalo Bills finished first in the AFCE

1988 - Lost Conference Championship
1989 - Lost Divisional Playoff Game
1990 - Lost Super Bowl
1991 - Lost Super Bowl
1992 - Lost Super Bowl
1993 - Lost Super Bowl

1994 - Didn't make playoffs
1995 - Lost Divisional Playoff Game

They were out of the playoffs until 2017

2017 - (3rd) Lost Wildcard Playoff Game
2018 - Didn't make playoffs
2019 - (2nd) Lost Wildcard Playoff Game
2020 - (1st) Lost Conference Championship
2021 - (1st) - Lost Divisional Wildcard Game
2022 - (1st) - Lost Divisional Wildcard Playoff Game
That's how Buffalo got the phone prefix of 044

Good question
Meaning did Gesicki catch 17 of 17 on short routes while Henry caught 13 of 20 on similar routes or only deep routes?
Or the opposite.
Did henry only see 13 and catch 13 while they were focusing on Gesicki who caught 17 of 35 while trying to get him acclimated to Jones and the Patriots.

One set of numbers alone is...not enough.

Also remember Ju Ju was out and a couple other WRs missed time or were limited.

Regardless this is a good sign. Should help keep Mac clean.

A lot is being talked about regarding the window closing on the Buffalo Bills if they don't get to the Super Bowl this year.

Very little is being said about the Cincinnati Bengals even though they've geen right in the thick of everything for the past couple of years.

Almost every day, one player or another on the Kansas City Chiefs is talking about two in a row. Even Andy Reid is talking about the Super Bowl and signing the "right" players to make it happen again this year.

Could the past three season's ""Big Three"" all being seeing something, like maybe the Bengals shouldn't be the third oor fourth option to win the Super Bowl?? The Bengals have added, not lost players from 2022. The Chiefs have taken a couple serious whacks on defense and Lahomes has not refilled the hole left by Tyreek Hill. Think Travis Kelce can be responsible for 58% of the KC offense again in 2023 and the Chiefs get to the Super Bowl, let alone win the AFCCG??

All I'm going to say is this. The Dolphins, Jags and Chargers will not be lightweights. The Bills have six brutal games in the AFCE before they can even begin to start thinking about making the AFCCG.

We may be bored with this part of the preseason wait, but from all around the league, there seems to be a bit of panic setting in, if it hasn't already built a nest.

Like every other team in this league, all three are a quarterback injury away from the toilet.

Maybe that's the problem today. Too much reliance on one player to get a team to the show. How many teams can go to their backup and expect the same or better performance? Most teams also have between 20% and 22% of their cap space dedicated to that position. How many times did Mahomes have to finish a game limping last year? It's just a matter of time. Even the GOAT lost a year from a knee injury.

Regardless when you are predicting a potential SB Winner, in preseason you base that guess on the current roster. No sense in stating the obvious, if any team looses their starting QB it's going to have an effect.

I remember people saying the same thing when Brady went down. Sometimes you don't know what you have.

Tennessee Titan have made DHop another offer. His agent 'ignored' it. His comment. "Too Early."

Miami Dolphnis made an offer to Dalvin Cook. He supposedly laughed and said, "Not on my worst day."

Reiss commented, "Neither player is interested in signing any contract at this point in time. It appears that they will wait until camps open and wait to see if someone needs to pay up because of an injury."

11 and 5 without Brady. I still swear that if the the Pats made the playoffs that season they were going to win the Super Bowl. The offense was stellar as the season was winding down. If they hadn't taken that ugly "wildcat" loss to the Dolphins they were going to be a tough out in the playoffs. Pittsburgh represented the AFC that year and NE always beats them. PITT went on to beat a way overmatched Cardinals team.
