So do guys that made their QBs look better than he has been touted to be.

2021, Chase had his best season, healthy the whole time, 1455 yards and 13 TDs. Team was 10-6 with Burrow and in the SB.
2022, Bengals were 3-1 with a healthy Burrow and no Chase. The team ended 12-4 and in Conference Championship.

2023, Burrow was never healthy. Chase was healthy almost the entire season. Team was 9-8…no playoff

49ers don't have any leverage on this now they will probably lose him next offseason and have nothing to show for it

They did have other WRs but you were saying Chase made Burrow better. I am stating Chase doesn’t do as much as Burrow to make that team better.
No, I wrote, in response to the comment about Chase the following... (note the plural and generalization)

You responded to a post specifically about Chase being a diva on his own clock by saying, ”so do guys that made their QBs look better.” Sorry, but every single person here took what you wrote as Chase made Burrow look better. Every QB is made by their WRs because the QB cannot throw to himself.

This move tells me they aren't keeping Aiyuk

This is a very smart move by the 49ers. Here are the details.

If the 49ers lose Brandon Aiyuk to free agency next year, they could potentially receive compensatory draft picks as compensation. The exact compensation depends on several factors, including the contract that Aiyuk signs with another team and the 49ers own free agent signings

Compensatory picks are awarded based on a formula that considers the player’s salary, playing time, and postseason honors. If Aiyuk signs a lucrative deal elsewhere and the 49ers don't sign a comparable free agent, they could receive a high compensatory pick in the following draft year's draft.
SN: Aiyuk is likely to sign for far more than this guy and as such command better than the typical 3rd or lower draft pick. Again, smart move by the 49ers.

surprising for a gm to say that.
Not in this case. This is the 49ers' way of telling everyone else that they have made a decision on Aiyuk. One of two things is about to happen in Niner Land. He's about to be traded, or they will release him into free agency outright. (I posted the explanation for this 5 minutes ago.)
