Dak......easy. Age, athleticism. Still think Kirk fits like a glove in SF if Purdy can't get them over the hump this year.

Long before the last draft, I posted a pretty in-depth assessment of the top 4 or 5 draft eligible QBs. In it I listed Mike Penix #2 behind Daniels/Williams who were tied for the top spot. That said, my prediction is Kirk finishes his career elsewhere, but not Atlanta, because MP is simply too good and too age appropriate to be kept on the bench. Kirk has enjoyed a remarkable career, but he's gonna get moved prior to the 2025 season. Beyond the emergence of Penix, the return in a trade for Kirk is going to be really good and serve to bolster an already talented team. The Falcons will be operating with the rookie QB salary and able to pay for top tier talents in free agency/ trades.

SN: Because of this the Falcons will have themselves in position to hurt Washington most in acquiring talent next year.

I don't remember anyone saying McCarthy was urine. I could have sworn they said he struggled against the Vikings first team defense. Nothing more, nothing less. At least that's what the report I posted said. Really @skinsdad62?

Albert Pujols had some great years playing with this, but you could tell it wore on him and limited him later. It could very well be something Herbert has to manage the rest of his career.
