Denver is paying all of his salary except for the prorated vet minimum. So SF gets him for a late round pick swap and is only paying him the vet minimum. He'll be good rotational pass rush depth in SF. Since there is no guaranteed money left on his deal, if he becomes a problem or anything the niners can cut him at any time with no cap issue. It's a low risk, high reward move.

Saw someone mention that last season opponents that played the Niners lost following week. Anyone know if that stat is legit? I wouldn’t doubt it given the way the Niners tackle and hit.

Every opponent that the Niners played last year, with the exception of the Chiefs who had a Bye the week following, lost the next game that they played. That is factual.

Crazy stat, but when you watch the Niners play, I can see why
