As much as I like Kyle and Lynch the move for Lance was a headscratcher to me.
Yeah a lot of draft capitol to give up for a guy clearly not ready

The move up for a QB made some sense. Niners weren't going to extend Jimmy's contract, and taking a rookie would allow him to sit on the bench for a year. Looks like they picked the wrong QB (or the wrong year to take one).

Lance was the boom or bust pick. Yet, lo and behold, after spending (wasting) a fortune in draft picks on Lance, they get bailed out by Mr. Irrelevant.

Yeah, many QBs bust ... it is the draft picks that sting.

Washington was bailed out of the Griffin trade by Cousins but the FO blew that too. Fingers crossed for Howell.

really dean you need an explanation of it after last season ?

i dont understand the confusion. I didnt want to give up on him after 6 games. he played against the Browns and failed miserably so I agreed we should have moved on. How is that my boy? Does this mean TH is your boy? lol

You were over the top excited when he signed and attempted to convince the entire board that wentz was the QB we needed. You also said Turner simply needed wentz to make his offense work. You jumped up and down in week 1 claiming that we found our qb of the future. You even went to the general board in attempt to drum up interest for the team. At one point you even brought up signing him to an extension.

You also dismissed the draft compensation that was given up unnecessarily. While you claimed we should have moved on, you never admitted it was a bad mistake from the get go. You lost all credibility when you started blaming the defense and OLine instead of Wentz. As usual, you were wrong. Stop playing the victim again. It is dishonest and you know it.

Your reputation is forever tied to wentz. TH is in the league, wentz is hunting bears..lol.

The outcome was predictable. Many posters and sports pundits said it wasn't going to work. Dean was the only one claiming the trade was a slam dunk and he would make us a winner.

This has nothing to do with 6 games, it has to do with the fact that the trade was a disaster from the get go. TH and Wentz had completely different records with the same OLine and defense. Dean is deflecting again.

Rivera bid against himself and needless gave up a 3rd rounder for literally no reason. That alone is reason for him to be dismissed as GM.

Yes…2-4 was all on Wentz…except the Chicago win…he deserves no credit for that.
