Hmm. #1 player will be between Peyton, AP, and Calvin. Might be able to throw in Brady and Rodgers as well.

To me the idea of such a list is pretty flawed. Kind of hard to compare centers to running backs, for example. I imagine that Forte will rate about fourth or fifth among RBs on the complete list.

Thought someone said there were 9 runningbacks on the list during the reaction show

Wow. I will be surprised if Forte is ranked ninth among RBs.

..........so I guess a poll from moronic fans would be more conclusive?

Pretty sure the fans wouldn't have Forte as the 9th rated rb....

I'll come back when they hit the top 20. I see the Seahawks having at least 4 players in the top 20.

Both are more exciting and explosive, but Forte is a better blocker and receiver than both, and comparable or competitive in yards. Yards from scrimmage, Forte's usually right there.

I dunno...AP has to come the field on 3rd downs.

I think Forte is the most complete back in the NFL.

B4ring out the homer chants..I know.

Forte was rated as the worst blocking RB in the league last year. 55 out of 55.

Also, REALLY hoping they put DeMarco ahead of Forte. The meltdown will be fun to watch :)

They put DeMarco AND Eddie Lacy ahead of him in the 80s. Obviously the voters understand that RB just isn't a premium position any more in the league - too easy to get a plug-and-play scrub or committee.

Kaepernick down in the low 80's and the fans still are voting that is overrated.

I don't know why anyone is getting that upset over this thing. It's nothing but a popularity contest for the players. You have to expect they are voting up their buddies and maybe guys they went to school with.

This is nothing more than a mildly interesting distraction while we pass time between the draft and training camp.

As a QB thats about right for Kap. Kid is a one trick pony. Drop back, look to his first read, if its not there run.

The next time he hits his third progression will be his first time.

By whom?

And I hate to be a homer, but that is utter bullshit.

Pro Football Focus.He. himself, was solely at fault for 3 sacks, 2 hits, and 12 hurries, way worse than the next full time rb who had 1 sack 9 hurries. I am not saying everything they say is right or their grading system is 100% but it is better than anything i have seen. They watch every play and only credit things to someone if it was on them. They only grade results not schemes or responsibilities, and if it is not clear, that play for that person goes ungraded.

It's not about where he ranks among other QB's, but how the other players in the league compare him against players of all other positions. That the fans are calling 81 overrated is amusing.

I mean let's not forget he did take them to the SB in his first year as a starter and was one bad play away from going back there in his second year. Clearly that one bad play is defining his whole season for the other players of the league as well as the fans.

It was his wirst year as a blocker, no doubt, but I'd bet most of that had to do with an entirely new offensive line, including two rookies.

Over his career, he has been an excellent blocker. No links to prove it...just going with me eyes.

as much fun as this is.... Forte was a top-5 back last year. AP, Charles, McCoy, and Lynch the others, place them where you like after AP and Charles.
