Right now it's Seahawks/Broncos.

Just realized 5 of the last 6 super bowls were really cocompetitive games except Seattle/Denver

It really is nice that the 21st century has mostly been an era of competitive super bowls. There have been some truly terrible ones in the past. Last year has been an anomaly of recent SB's to be sure, though.

Was about to say the same thing. Most Super Bowls have been great games with few exceptions. Honestly, XL had to be one of the worst all-time for anyone outside of Pittsburgh. I was happy with the result but that game was just awful. Excluding the controversy of that game, it was just bland.

Yeah, I must have went through 2 packs of smokes during that game. Green Bay got out to a 14-0 lead then Pitt came storming back, cumulating in an exciting last drive for all the marbles. Hell, that entire season was stressful as a Packer fan. Did you know that, despite going 10-6 in the regular season that Packer team was never down by more then 7 points the entire year? Crazy

Copy that. I had to watch the replay on NFL Network and it occurred to me that had the Steelers won, Charlie Batch and Byron Leftwich would have gotten rings.

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.

Didn't he have one anyway from the win over the Cards and possibly the win over Seattle too?

You are correct sir. A pox on me.

Having Batch with two rings is even more eerie.

Hell dude, it's not so weird. I ran into a guy in a McDonalds when I was in southern Georgia rocking a Green Bay SB ring from that season. I asked him how he got it (he sure as hell wasn't a player and I think it would have recognized him if he was a coach) and he said he transported their equipment to away games.

Not saying the dude didn't do his part to help the team, but it's pretty crazy that a random truck driver gets a 30 thousand dollar piece of jewelry for the Pack winning a Super Bowl. So Batch having a couple doesn't bother me.

They don't. Team employees get lesser versions of the rings. They're nice, but not that nice.

It looked like the real deal. I'll see if I can't find that picture and post it.
