As it has been for the last few years, one team that goes to London has to give up a home game to do it. That sucks big time for the fans.

I've also noticed that they never schedule a "serious" game there. It's never a conference game, for example, and most of the time it's a for-sure blowout or a game between two teams going nowhere.

Ooops. Dolphins host the Jets October 4th.

Jags-Bills and Chiefs-Lions.

Move to Cali...you can have a full plate of morning NFL...lol

My brother in law out here complains the 1p games are on too early...I complain the night games end too late...go figure.
That would be great but I don't think I'd move out there for that reason.

Ugh. When I lived on the west coast and followed my Vikings those 10 AM games were TOUGH! It is really hard to get the proper buzz on that early in the morning.

I can't tell you how many of those games I still remembered the next day. And as a Viking fan more often than not you want to be just a little fuzzy on Monday about what you watched happen on Sunday.

LOL...I hear ya...that's almost a continuation buzz from Sat night!

I was out there a few years ago and it was very strange to have NFL pregames coming on at 8:30 to 9a...and real games on 10. I did enjoy watching the Falcon-Lions game in London LY...but a regular dose of it?...I would miss games I know.

You know I'm just busting...I love Cali...to visit. If I ever leave ATL...it most likely will be to a smaller city...not bigger.

Heh, why does this comment not surprise me?
well, it does. its where undrafted college kids go to make a few pink bucks, where guys like ocho can still have a job, and where you only get 3 downs. why didnt they take baseball and make it 2 strikes youre out, maybe add a 5th base?

Totally different games. They can exist just fine without it having to be an either/or choice.

I prefer NFL games, but CFL games are fun as hell to watch too. Open your mind.

oh, ive watched CFL out of football desperation. i was a fan of pinball clemmons on the argos.

but he also gut cut by the chiefs...cut here, a legend up there. its a nice route to the real football like flutie and cameron wake, mervyn fernandez, etc...but its mostly a development league as far as the nfl goes.

The London Jaguars?

The London Jag-U-Ars....

I usually record the ESPN boys to view while on elliptical unit.

But 10 AM starts are wonderful. What else is there to do on a Sunday AM?

Then you get the afternoon games and then right around dinner you get the night game (which I record).

Still leaves time for Ray Donovan or whatever else you feel like watching after the last game.

Cause then you will have a whole new fan base suggesting changes they'd like to see.

Like tea and crumpets at 1/2 time. Or yellow and red cards for various things.

I say no to over the ditch expansion. NFL is not a world sport.

The London Jaguars?

I was thinking the London Raiders. That way you move the Raiders to the AFC East, the Dolphins will go to the AFC South and Houston could go to the AFC West.

You need to rethink your life if waiting 6 hours is too tough.

To the original topic, London also come with higher taxes and greater strain on your family. Even if the NFL goes there I don't see a ton of players flocking to join the team.

I'm sure once players hit free agency, they won't ever come back. And any players drafted in the early rounds would probably be pissed.

As long as the Super Bowl stays out of London. No reason to outsource one of our county's biggest money makers.

When you complain consistently & endlessly about the NFL and at conceivable opportunity, at one point do you ask yourself:

"Maybe I should just stop watching it"

Meh, I've heard it all before, COUNTLESS times. One of the previous boards I hung at people told me that Ricky Williams would EASILY set the new CFL season rushing mark.

Ooops. He was only about 1200 yards short.

And your point above works against you. Why weren't guys like Wake in the NFL right away?

Having the CFL is a good thing for the NFL.

Yes I had the pleasure of watching Flutie right here in Calgary. He still couldn't get a break in the NFL with a REAL chance though.

Swervin' Mervyn Fernandez was a really good receiver, but a 'legend?' up here? Meh. Two time all-star, rookie of the year. Fabulous player, and if he'd have stayed and not chased the NFL dream, he MIGHT have become a legend.

As a east coast fan and a golfer (or try to be golfer)...not as big on CFB so I play on Sat. mostly and typically practice on Sun morning...get back around 10:30-11...fire the grill up...or maybe some light lawn work, then the games are on.

Back when I had my real man cave there were no SNF games...Sundays from Sept to Feb was a pretty much a party with 6 to 8 of us from noon till about 8p...now...I'm watching by myself mostly. I rarely ever see the end of the 8p games unless it's my team or a really good game.
