I got my team for the win... I just think my secondary is too good to compete vs a team that only has one RB, even if that one RB is Walter Payton...

This one comes down to the defense, as I feel both offenses are fairly weak.

Milk gets the vote.

I love Smitty's oline and having sweetness behind it is fantastic. Milks secondary is amazing. No FB is a concern, but against milks team is it about chewing up clock, and I think Smitty's TE's would own the middle of the field and Payton keeps the time of possesion on his side.

I vote Smitty

I think Smitty has the stronger offense, with a big edge at QB and RB, and I think Milk has a big edge on defense. I do think that Milk's strength at corner would allow him to negate some of Smitty's edge in the running game by bringing a safety in, and would be just enough to edge it out

I do hate Brett Favre, and hated that you PEOPLE forced me into drafting him... But I don't understand why my offense is getting so much hate...

I wouldn't call it hate. Unitus is a big edge over Favre and Walter is a big edge over Allen. Smitty also has a great OL

I gotta go Smitty here... At first glance you think the Is missing however, Sanders could easily be utilized in many different ways to play "FB" although I know it may be frowned upon... Milk has a solid team especially his secondary, but I agree with the wizard that Smitty is going to pound the ball and then that opens up some passing lanes... The line of scrimmage wins this one for me, bad matchup for Milk...

Smitty - 24
Milk - 21

I really like what Milk did even though he is playing a player out of position on defense. I agree with others that Sanders can be used in different formations so that is a non issue IMO for Smitty, I like Milk's passing game more against Smittys secondary than vise versa. Although I like Milks secondary much more I dont like his d-line I think Smitty has the interior lineman to slow down Sapp and Glover, Abrahams name wont be called even once during the game but I love Brooks and Buoniconti. I think despite Favres 3 INT's Milk hangs on for a close win.

Neither offense is super good so I go Milk who I think focused on defense a little more and his is stronger

The disrespect Favre gets in these drafts always frustrates me which is why I never pick him. Favre threw picks 3.3% of his drop backs. Marino is 3.0 and Elway 3.1 for example but does anyone ever go nuts about them? Not to mention Favre never had anyone elite to throw to other than Sterling sharpe. Milk has a big edge on D so I vote him

Antonio Freeman was pretty good Donald Driver was ok. I only speak for myself but the disrespect he gets for INT's is more about when he threw them than how many. I'm a Favre fan myself 2009 was his best season and it came as a Viking thats something that makes me very happy.

I agree about Favre... I am not a fan but that's because I think he padded his stats by being mediocre in the beginning of the games... But we always mention his interceptions, yes he has the most in NFL history, but that's because he played so long... He has a better interception rate than Johnny unitas...

Those 2 main ones you're referring to happened at ages 38 and 40. It's incredible that he was ever even in those positions to throw them. We're supposed to judge based on prime.

I think the rap Favre gets is like the one Romo gets. Favre is better, but the same deal. Most of his career, Romo has played on teams with a shit defense. He has lost a ton of big games where he had a double digit 4th quarter lead or takes his team 80 yards to take the lead with a minute left only to have the defense give up a 40 second TD drive to lose it

Only mentioned it here because it is Favre vs Unitas in this matchup... My biggest pet peeve in these mocks is to say this team loses because of a certain reason BUT the other team in the matchup is not much better...
