How about a simple NBA draft.

The 1976 NBA Draft. Player had to have played in 1976 to be eligible.

What about a NBA draft where you can only draft 1 player per their college team they played for. If they never went to college then they can't be picked.

I like it the only problem is this will still be a pretty wide open draft. Look at the top 30 players in NBA history. How many of them went to the same college?

I'm not saying no of course just that it will still be just a wide open draft.

More wide open then my ex. Top 30 players out of a 10 player draft means only 3 on same team maybe. We aren't trying to make it impossible to draft just a little different. I'm fine with also doing from year 1985-present (just a example) with college rule. Or by division bucket list.
