A little late to the party but it's been a busy, busy day. Put up the Christmas tree, outside lights and decorations and started the interior decorating. First time on the computer all day. On to my thoughts of last night's game.

I thought the Kings came out a little flat or it could have been a little rust since they hadn't played in 4 days. Whatever they talked about after that snooze-fest of a first period worked pretty well. They looked much better in the second and third. I'm beginning to agree with all the Muzzin haters. He had a very good game against the Blues and was actually even physical. Much different player against the Islanders however. Played timid and had numerous, almost costly turnovers. Baled out by his defensive partner, Doughty and Jones in net. I'll hold off on getting on him too hard though because he is rather young for a defenseman.

I have no idea what Sutter is doing with his offensive lines. Not complaining because it's working. Let's hope it keeps working on the road. Tough trip through eastern Canada and then finish it off in Chicago. Not going to be easy to rack up many points and the Kings need all they can get to keep pace in the division race.
