Don't know where to put this, so I'll drop it here - Boston College won the Three Rivers Classic tournament in Pittsburgh. Johnny Hockey won the tournament MVP.

/Too old for the USA junior team entry this year.

Sweden vs. Slovakia
US vs. Russia

Canada vs. Switzerland
Finland vs. Czech Republic

/Don't want to count chickens before they're hatched, but that's a pretty good draw for Canada.

Is it that he wants to get his degree? Are the Flames not willing to meet his demands? With Burke in charge now I'm not sure if they'll sign him. We all know how Burke likes guys with size & truculence.

I think part of it is that he enjoys BC and knows he needs to get stronger. Obviously, I hope he ends up signing a entry level deal with the Flames, yeah he's not a big guy, but he's got gobs of talent.

no, you're right...still have to play the games obviously, but Canada is certainly setup well to make the gold medal game.

The talent is definitely their. Johnny might want to become an UFA if the Flames aren't willing to give him 1st round money another team will probably be willing to.

Was sitting right infront of a hockey team from Pittsburgh and their parents, it was the only section that wasn't dominantly Canadian. Friendly rivalry, it was all good (they were outnumbered 100-1 in the building ), they started this call and response chant when the game was tied...
