New to the NBA

New to the NBA. Looking for a team to root for, not a bandwagon so no one really good like the Warriors or the Cavs. I live in Northern Indiana but don't like the Pacers. Haven't found any sort if connection with them. Teams I kinda like are the Knicks, Bucks, and Pelicans a bit. Knicks cause I used to always use them as a team in 2k and I like some of the players. Bucks because I'm a huge Packers fan. Pelicans because E'twaun Moore plays for them and he's a Purdue guy Boiler Up! If you all could give me some suggestions or even other things like some tips to get into the game that would be great! I love college B-ball so I'd thought I'd give the NBA a try.

Bucks would be fun to watch on a regular basis and have the brightest future out of the teams you mentioned. Giving the Greek Freak a bigger role was the best thing to happen to the Bucks.

Northern Indiana means the Bulls are in play but they are such a shitshow right now I'd pass.

Seconded on the Bucks I guess, of the ones you listed. Spurs have the best coach, maybe them?

I think you should consider the Miami Heat.

They are always competitive, even during rebuilding years.
They have a winning culture and are not afraid to make personnel changes swiftly if need be.
The President of operations is a slick haired mafia old gangsta type in Pat Riley , which is cool.
The female fans all walk around in thongs and micro bikinis before and after the games.
Great Cuban food.

where are you actually from? don't be another shitty fan.if you're from indiana go for the colts and pacers. if you're from elsewhere, at least try and stick to a region. so many shitty bandwagoners out there. you say you don't want to be one, you may have chosen the packers from a bandwagoner option and jumping on the bucks now wouldn't leave you far behind.

I've already chosen the Bucks. I want to stay in the Wisconsin Region. Someday I hope to move up their and watch my teams play. Not too far from Milwaukee or Green Bay.

You could do what many fans do. Just pick the best team when you first start following a sport.

This is why there are many 50-55 year old Dallas Cowboy fans spread throughout the US.
