Marvin gets an extension. Excuses are made. Revival is complete.

Looks like a was a little early on the extension part. We decided to get it out of the way now rather than wait until after the playoff disappointment.

Damn this schedule is fucking brutal. After week 1 the only teams on here who had a losing record last season are Cleveland (who spilt head to head with the bengals) and St Louis (who look really tough if Foles gives them serviceable play)

I know every year the schedule looks bad in the preseason but this seems like murder's row.I'd be surprised if more than one team from AFCN makes the post season, The division games are even more important than usaul

Marvin Lewis is not the issue, it is the lack of a franchise QB who can actually elevate his game a little during prime time games.

Lewis is the idiot insisting that Dalton is his man, which is a mistake, but I think he is just saying that to keep from shaking the boat when he has no better options at QB right now. He is not going to give up a first round cost controlled player for an old QB, while a decent player still, is on his last leg in Phillips.

With lack of QB options, he is not going to say anything other than Dalton is his guy to keep from shaking the boat.

One thing that concerns me is that AJ Green has started to collect injuries. the passing game is going to be mediocre at best if he isn't a steady part of it. I'm not sure I would actually invest money in Bengals wins at this point.

The schedule in April is never the schedule in December after all the games are played. That much is always true.

Bengals should be good enough for 10 wins.
