If McHenry is reading the tea leaves right, Washington would trade up to snatch Memphis QB Paxton Lynch, who they really like, if the price were right. If it's not, the team would be happy to trade back from the No. 21 pick. That's because they love the talent in Rds. 2-3 and would like to add an additional pick in that range.

Here's the story. It does say that the Redskins are open to trading up (which I don't believe) or down, but it doesn't state that we'd be taking Lynch. The report states that we'd trade down to another team who wanted him. Now, that I can believe.

Now that makes a whole lot more sense. We want trade back and we don't want to take Lynch but would trade our pick to a team that wants him. That initial stuff was nonsense.
