So then make the call how damn hard is that? If it's a penalty there is no reason ever to not make the call.
How are my nuts doing today?

99 who hit him was the guy who broke his collar bone in the first game with the Bears. He was going in to hit him with intention to try and get him out of the game again. It was clear he did not try to avoid him but put a hit on him
Oh yeah? Did u hear him say that in the press conference? Or did he text that to u? U have no idea whether he was trying to hurt him or not. To me it just looks like a guy wanting to make a hit on a qb, nothing more nothing less. Except it was late and a penalty.99 who hit him was the guy who broke his collar bone in the first game with the Bears. Yes, bc our defensive players have hardly any self control and discipline so it wouldn't surprise me to see us commit that very same foul. The team I root for has no barring on my opinion of this play.
Well here we have the tail wagging the dog. I expected no less a response from your inbred ass. As to the subject at hand, I love your train of thought, " Let's not call a penalty when a rule is broken " Great Idea!.![]()
Reading comprehension, much? Am I not allowed to dislike a rule, or have an opinion on it??
Go take a cold shower, I'm not into ornery old men.
If there was any intent, in a split-second scenario, it would be to force a turnover, not hurt someone. Rogers was over the ball for a second, no way to know for sure if it had come loose or not.
It's a foul, by rule, but it is pretty pussified.
Looked like a foul to me. I checked the rule book and yes, it was a foul.
I would agree if he actually hit Rodgers, but 99 just slid over the top of him. He was running at full speed when Rodgers went down.
But I can see your point. I thought the foul was for grazing his helmet. Still think it was a BS foul though.

Here niners this is to restore your faith in the game. This is from Rams Hawks and no flag was thrown.
He didn't start to go to the ground until after Rogers was completely down.

There was no reason for him to go low. There was no reason for him to land on Rodgers. It was a completely avoidable hit and an easy, predictable call.
Admittedly I'm presuming intent, but that's the way I see it.
Preseason don't count. You know damn well everything's a penalty.
