Forgot to mention that this was a roughing-the-passer penalty where a couple of Bears slid over Rodgers & a guy's arm barely grazed his helmet on the way down.

What bothers me most about these calls is the apparent favortism. It seems like you need to be extra careful around Brees, Rodgers, Manning and Brady. Cam Newton seems to get pummeled routinely and doesn't seem to get those calls. Other "low" ranked QBs never seem to get the same protection as the marquee guys which is bullshit to say the least.

That's been a PF on 99 for a hell of a long time and I hate Rodgers and the Pack. Rodgers is on the ground. 99 has to go over the top or at least make an attempt to.

The NFL has become a league where they call penalties for stupid dumb ass plays like the one above.

I'm sure if Patrick Kane was on his knees.... then got his face plastered into the boards for no reason while trying to get up.... you'd guys have no problem with that, right?

If the first guy had been the only one there would be no call. It's the second guy going down on top of him clearly after he was already on the ground with another player on him that was the foul. And it was a good call. You can't do that and haven't been able to in a while.

Late hit for sure. Like it or not, that's been a penalty for years. That isn't something that's just been implemented recently.
