Leave Asik in there, take him out, foul Bogut, don't foul Bogut…I don't think it would have mattered. The Warriors D took over the 4th quarter.

Another close call. Great game. I watched very little of New Orleans this year. They have been impressive. Davis is a stud. Curry was cold in the 2nd half. That won't last.

Fouling bogut would have mattered. Fouling bogut means klay doesn't go off. It was 88-86 and klay took over.

Series is done now. Pelicans probably win game 3, lose game a close game 4, & warriors finish them off back in GSW in game 5

This was the road game to steal

Pelicans have been very impressive. I wonder how many teams in the East they could beat in a 7 game series.

They got a bright future. Would be VERY surprised to see a sweep.

You can see how much Klay has come along the past three seasons. He used to just park himself behind the 3 point line and would be invisible if his shot wasn't following. He is finishing so much better now.

Yup, the Warriors turned up the D and the Pelicans had no answer for it.

It will be interesting to see what the rational was for not fouling Bogut or Iguadola. At some point you have to trust your defense to make some plays.

Anthony Davis in a way reminds me of Kevin Durant. Moves so well for a big man

Yep. These guys don't miss when they're on fire.

If you go to the hack a bogut 3 or 4 times in a row, how many points are GSW scoring on those possessions? 4 or 5 at most if they're lucky

How long are you stuck with that avatar, lol?

Remember this was a year with a historically great conference, high quality teams 1-9 in the West. The Pelicans aren't a 'normal' 8 seed.

This is actually not true. Most years 45 wins in the west get you the 10th seed.....9th if you're lucky

Davis is just a Beast. if they can get him a 2nd star on that team they will be scary good. I like NO future. Get Davis help and they have a shot. Thompson just took over last night

Davis can be even better if he stop settling for jumpshots so frequently

I dont think the West is historically great this year

If anything there was a lot of probably unexpected wins for contenders when OKC and SA spent most of the first half injured and those wins had to go somewhere.

Both the Spurs and Thunder probably would have been 60-64 win teams had they been healthy all year. We saw a few glimpses of OKC who never got healthy and saw the Spurs go 21-4 once they got healthy.

There was at least 20 extra wins laying around unexpectedly. That kept teams from mailing it in early which doubly inflates win totals.

The Warriors are still likely a top team as they are better than last year, but teams like Dallas, Portland, Phoenix, and Memphis all probably ended up with more early confidence and staying power to inflate wins.
