Don't know that it changes our needs that much. I don't think drafting a guard was too high on the priority list already so the only real change would be to not draft a slot wr. But I don't think it changes our need for a big wr on the outside.

Allen Robinson fits the role of a big WR on the outside

Mixed feelings on him...Like the size speed but it seemed like he wasn't a big dominant go deep and go abd get the ball but more of an underneath yac guy...That being said I'm assuming you've watched him play a lot more than me so I could be wrong.

Yes I watched every game. Robinson is not going to burn by many CB's however he will out jump them for the ball. He did catch a lot of underneath balls and turned them into nice runs after the catch but when you give him time to get down the field he can deliver big plays deep as well.

As we sit right now it appears like our needs are still the #1 O-line and #2 would be FS in the draft. Maybe get a WR but I don't see that as a top 3 need after we signed Roberts.

1) OL 2)FS 3)ILB 4)WR 5)CB

Moses, Filo, Yankey, and Ward come to mind at pick #34.

I think the needs are pretty much still the same. Few of these FAs we signed we can expect to be on this team 4-5 years from now. It does put us in a good situation because we don't necessarily have to pray we get a starter at as many spots in this draft. I agree RT is probably a good place to start if someone slips. Between ILB, WR, DE, OT, CB, and S...let's see which mid 1st rounder slips to us.

How is FS behind OL at this point?

Its more like 1A & 1B. We didn't improve on o-line yet in free agency in my opinion. Right now its BPA from OL,FS,ILB,WR,CB

I can't wait until Lauvao can prove you guys wrong this season. Even if we didn't though...we have no starters at S...ZERO...we are hoping one of the second year guys are starters but we have ZERO.

I am with you that we need safety help but I disagree Luavao alone will fix the Redskins problems on the o-line..

With Litch moving to center. We have Luavao, Chester, Ribeye, and Gettis as our Guards. That's scary if you ask me. As far as Rt is concerned we are looking into Penn from TB. Also, we still have the draft to fix the oline. I agree as of right now the 0-line is dreadful.

As far as S is concern they must be really counting on Thomas to come in and start.

I understand the need at S, I just have doubt that the FO is going to address that with our first pick in the draft. I have seen nothing from Rambo to make me believe that he has what it takes to be a starter, I just don't know if the coaching staff will give on him just yet. Maybe that's the right thing to do?

If we are going into the draft knowing we are drafting a S in the second round...we are the dumbest franchise in football.

We shouldn't be going into the draft thinking we are taking only one position in the 2nd rd but the BPA from either these positions OL,FS,ILB,WR,CB and maybe DE/DT. If there is a FS in the 2nd round worth taking (highly doubt it) then yes we take him but I see FS being addressed in 3rd round where the value will be at.

Jimmy Ward is projected a high second round pick ritzarmy. where are you getting your info from? If we sign Penn from Tampa I would concentrate on Ward and OG Filo at #34. Moncrief should be there in the 3rd round.

OK Dean, I know some safeties are I interchangeable, but everything I have seen projects him as more of a SS. Stupid ???, But isn't Phillip Thomas supposedly a SS??

And where are you getting your info from?? He is listed anywhere between the 2nd and 4th round depending in where you go.

I am getting my info from Kiper. He list Ward as a FS and could be a high 2nd round pick. Worst case end of 2nd. Who said 3rd or 4th round? Thomas played FS in college he can play both, so can Ward.

Ok Pet once again when its our turn to draft in the 2nd round and for some reason I can't trade back for more picks then I will post the BPA available and we will vote on who to take. If you want Ward with the 34th pick but 2 other people want to take WR Benjamin then we will go with Benjamin or who ever the majority vote is.

Oh and by the way: Walter football doesn't have him as a high second they have him as
Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois
Height: 5-11. Weight: 193.
Projected 40 Time: 4.61.
Projected Round (2014): 3-4.

-------------------------------------------------------
CBS sports has Ward as a SS
