Hamels pitched a very good game. Just total garbage hits off of him. Too bad that with 2 outs and a runner on 1st and only 1 run in he walked the next 2 hitters. That was really the only hiccup in his game tonight.

Offense struggling to get going but new additions take a little time to build some chemistry. Cole pitched fantastic after a rough 1st, certainly good enough to get a W. Hopefully we get one tomorrow to avoid the sweep.

Altuve only one contributing. Looked at the box score. Pretty sad.

Look at their lineup and you will see Altuve with this nice batting average and then it drops to around 269 or so for the 2nd highest average. Keep the ball in the park against them and they have a tough time putting enough hits together to score runs.

Seattle has made up 2 games lately and they have the King back, don't count them out yet. Then there is the Angels and A's who are 13 and 14 out respectively. It will likely come down to 162 again
