Honestly, isn't that really what any of us brings to the table here?

I stand by the fact it's a Rangers game thread, not the Astros

I literally just posted in the other thread about this before seeing this.

Most of what is posted here is stuff we can look up ourselves. The Astros are a rival. What they do is relevant.

The only reason I mentioned the Astros was due to the fact their GM popped off, and some of their fans/writers were being such a bunch of dickheads. Had it not been for this, I would not have mentioned them. But maybe that's what big brother's do. ha ha

But it's a point taken about them and being relevant.

Yes you/us have. But it's most, if not all have been based around the trade deadline, and all the emotions/posting/mouthing back-n-forth, which went into it.

One thing I have noticed about folks who use boards like this one is that we can all be inconsistent in our criticisms of each other. I think I started frequenting these type of boards about 10 years or so and it has always been that way. We tend to be a lot harder on folks that we haven't gotten along with in the past. We also tend to have a double standard with the kind of logic or reasoning (or lack thereof) that we will put up with. Sometimes we completely let something go that one poster is guilty of that we will complain about if another poster does the exact same thing. It may not be fair, but when you interact with people you are going to encounter a whole lot of unfairness.

I post whatever the F I want to here and if someone doesn't like it they don't have to read it, just ignore it. That said I'm not sure its the updates that bother some folks, but the incessant worry he has about the Astros or whatever division rival concerns him that day. Dude has posted here for a long time and pretty sure he came over w most of us from Disney. I know how he posts and have just learned to accept it as his nature. He adds value to the board at times and certainly makes it more interesting (gives me a good chuckle at times at his worrisome ass) but some here just like to have crap to bitch about, like me. Some need to lighten up as well, yeah I try at times.
