They were due for a letdown after last night's blowout win over the Habs. Don't fault them too much for this. Props to the Devils, they're playing great right now.

I thought we were unlucky last night, played well. Jersey got a lot of lucky bounces and Kucherov had a possible goal disallowed and Palat hit the iron. In all fairness we only had ourselves to blame in the end, it took us so long to get the 1st goal and then we gave them a penalty the shift afterwards which led to the game winning goal.

The Bolts were far from sloppy which really surprised the heck out of me because they had just played a very high energy game the night before. I really thought it was a really good game played by both teams. Kudos to the Bolts & Jersey for putting on an exciting show!

I think they showed their potential against the Habs, now they gotta bring that effort on a consistent basis. That's the next step for the Lightning IMO.
