I used to have time to read regularly.... then I got married, bought a house, had kids, career, etc. I'm lucky if I get to read 4 books a year. My Kindle is filled with books I convinced myself "Oh, I'll make time for this one..." Latest is 'Unbeatable'.

How many are there in that series total?

5 books out now, with 7 total eventually.. tho it may end up being more than that, he's increased the total books number twice already


each is about 1200 pages.. they're really good though, better than the show

I've found thats almost always true.

I wonder if he feels any pressure to overextend the book series because of the popularity of the show.

I don't think he's going to let the show bother him at all.. he's a stubborn old fart who's gonna do what he wants to write a great series..

It might make him write a little bit quicker though, he's notoriously slow

yea.. he's a chuckly old man on tv..

but in print interviews you can tell he don't give a shit about timetables and whatnot, he just wants to do everything on his time/terms

34, married, kids, house, job that can be crazy or boring.... kind of boring today. Graduated from K-State (in state tuition and girl kept me here), but was raised on Nebraska; both folks are grads and everyone in my family lives there except me. My sister and parents even moved back to O-town.
