As someone who usually follows farms closely but hasnt really had too much time this year to do it, who the eff is Matt Read?? I love the sounds of him by the article, but I was under the impression wellwood was our best forward prospect (which is really sad).

A few article that give a best more info. I've read a few articles comparing him to a shooting version of Giroux.

I totally agree, I hear Philly could trade the 8th pick and Versteeg for Floridas 3rd overall pick. I also hear Flyers might go after Brad Richards. Also Bob could be on his way out.

I saw an interview with Homer after they signed Read and he was saying he expected him to be a top 9 forward next year. I think he has a 1 way deal and signed with us because Homer said he would get a chance.

Can they afford all these players right now, with Walker/lappy/leight/backlund gone. Where does Sesito fill in then with Shelley back.

I personally think Schenn is gonna be ready, training camp will be interesting for that reason.
