New ACC divisions and format, for football

Pitt to Coastal, Cuse to Atlantic, 9 league games, Pitt-Cuse crossover opponents.

Uh.. this was the first time you won the ACC in 20 years and now you think you are high and mighty? Not to mention the last time you won the ACC (1991), FSU, Miami, VT, BC weren't even in it.

I know that I am in the minority here, but I would have much preferred WVU. They are a good football and basketball program, and a natural rival for Pitt, VT and Maryland.

I feel the same way. I would have rather had WVU than Cuse. WVU is very solid in bball, but I will give Cuse the nod there on the excitement they will bring year to year to ACC bball. I definitely still miss the VT/WVU Big East football days.

I think we would all rather have WVU than Syracuse. The post was directed at the clemson fan wanting to go to a conference 'where people actually cared about football.' Maybe they should explore the Big East.

They built a scoring tower. It is not going to happen now.

I for one detest WVU with a passion and am glad they didn't get into the ACC. I would never want to subject our team & fans to those assholes they call fans. If we could set it up where it was always a neutral site, I'd be down. I just HATE Morgantown. #Hillbillies.

And I'm relieved we got Pitt, every other year in the Dome would have sucked.

I wouldnt have minded WVU as long as it was played at a neutral site every year. FWIW my friends dad played @ WVU and remains close to the program, their players, coaches, and administration are just like anywhere else in CFB, but their fans BLOW!!!

id prob feel the same way if we would have got stuck with syracuse or even worse if the ACC had went the north south route.
