In my opinion that is the absolute worst type of fan. Someone who never has anything good to say at all, predicts doom and gloom, and has a smug, I-told-you-so attitude when they happen to get it right. There is a difference between being realistic and being someone who seemingly enjoys Nebraska losing. I've got no time for "fans" like that.

You bonehead, I never gloat about losses, in fact I hate when MY team loses, and I hate it even worse when they lose games they should win, or at least be competitive in. They were mostly uncompetitive in every loss last year. I also realize that sometimes bad losses will occur, but with Bo there sure have been a lot of those types of losses. I have hope this year and beyond that things will change with Bo as our head coach.

Also, I don't predict a loss almost every time Nebraska plays, I just know from Bo's history, that there were a lot of games that were losable. Go back and look at what happened to see that I wasn't wrong.

I've suffered Nebraska losses all the way back to the Bill Jennings era. I don't like any loss & I like less most of the losses under Pelini where we have gotten face stomped by teams we could have at least been competitive with.

Bo was supposed to be some kind of defensive guru. Yet, every year its the the same old shit. wait till next year, look at all the defensive talent he's recruited--we've had too many injuries to be that good on defense--too many people quit--too many people transferred. Same shit different year and this is year seven. Does anyone honestly believe we'll really do any better this year (9-4)?

For three decades, we usually beat one or two really good teas, We usually ended up ranked in the top 15 or higher. We usually went to a major bowl. Not any more.

oaknight, I still enjoy our victories, they have just become bittersweet for me because we seldom beat anyone of consequence. For three decades the football team gave people of Nebraska what we no longer have--bragging rights.

Pelini himself has complained about scheduling FCS opponents claiming that the team doesnt take them serious.Ameer was pissed about the letdown as well.I think we ll be back on track against Fresno andhope we can improve the rest of the schedule.
