Nebraska's first Big 10 game

Nebraska's opening Big 10 game against Wisconsin will be a night game. It will be on ESPeon and probably at 7pm

I’m glad it’s a night game. By that time most of the Badger hardcores will be passed out drunk. And Huskers will rule Camp Randall.

Tough opener.... similar traits and strengths... and I bet the whole state of Wisc will be up and ready for this game... In fact, each Big Ten team will be focused on us this year with much anticipation as they will want to welcome us to Big Ten Football and how they play the game.

07-08 season Ball State game 41 - 40 we won... I think we were rated in the top 25 then... So shit happens...

I know, I know.... that was a game in our down years... but... still

That's true Nuance, but as you know... here at Nebraska... it was always (in past) a standard that if we did not blow people out... most fans and players walked away feeling as if we lost.. and we pushed to get better with every passing day.

This is the tradition we need to get back... with that type of mentality....

Looking at the schedule of games on Oct 1 it is likely that the Nebraska/Wisconsin game will be the ABC primetime game.

CFB will move games. The PAC 12 has already said that they would but the likely hood the Big 10 does that is about the same likely hood of Collins Okafur beating out Rex Burkhead for the starting RB job.

Very tough........it would be a great confidence booster to get conference play started if we could go in there and pull that one off.......but I would say the odds will be stacked against us. It's gonna be fun!

The Big 10 is very strict on their scheduling of games. They do not allow thursday or friday games. They already saidthey are staying on saturday.
