Game Thread: Nebraskaball @ 15 Purdue

Looking better tonight. More energy, hitting shots, decent job of rebounding (but not great).

We are looking really good I hope the momentum continues in the second half of the contest

Hitting shots the big thing. Offense is flowing better when that happens. Took the lead then went into a lull though. Thankfully didn't seem to last 5-6 minutes.

I like seeing more guys playing. Miles should have been doing it all year. Guys look fresher. Guys like Thor look energized to be out there and giving his all.

Short of winning the Big Ten tournament. Winning out is our only shot. But than means winning in Ann Arbor and East Lansing. So let's hope we get an easy path in Chicago.

Eh. I'm no bracket expert but i don't think they need to win out but probably need like 6 out of 8. If they could get to 20 wins they could get in.

How is it possible that at the same time Purdue gets red hot Nebraska gets ice cold. Is it just because we're not deep enough to run a rotation in our guys are tired.

Apparently I missed a lot. The other team getting hot and us getting cold just seems like the history of Husker basketball.

We just never seem to get a kid like this Edwards from Purdue. I thought maybe Palmer this year but he's just not consistent and doesn't hit the outside shot well enough.

We also never seem to get great roll players. A big man in the middle that can do something, a great 3 point shooter.

Too much standing around on O. Purdue guys constantly moving, our D has to keep moving and keep an eye on their guy. If one them looks to see what is going on with the ball they lose their guy and he gets open.

Our O has a bunch standing around and so D can help easy. So takes away where Palmer or Roby would be more effective.
