Projected to go to Rangers at 30th pick. Guess the fall was do to some sub-par workouts recently.

Will see, hope he falls out of 1st round.

Probably not.

Mad dog will probably have him playing around with a hoola hoop and doing cartwheels during practice.

You're confusing Bo with that Cory Raymond belly flop lusting fella.

I hate to sound negative about our receivers, but what good are they if our starting QB is only a 52% passer?

Yeah. He was a R/S Freshman. I'd think he'll improve a few points over the next 3 years.

As a sophomore Gill was 51.6%, junior he was 54.2%, as a senior he was 55.3%, and he had Irving Fryer.

Jerry Tagge was 56.6% as a sophomore, 61.1% as a junior, 59.7% as a senior, and he had Johnny Rodgers.

I'd hope there is a leap. between more practice, working with a QB coach during the offseason and when not working with him, working with the receivers, I'd hope that goes up.

oh, don't forget the new ball. something with some grip instead of one covered in grease.

Tommy was making some good throws towards the end of last season.

That one in particular to Quincy in the corner of the endzone (which he dropped) in the bowl game was a big time throw.

I think a lot of it is confidence and I think he will be far more confident this year. When you think back to Taylor, he was confident from day 1.......and he never really improved......just mind of peaked and then stayed there.

To me there is a lot of upside to Tommy's game.

I'm just concerned simply because I don't think that much talent is (receiver wise) going to help us that much unless we can expect a 60% completion rate or there 'bouts. I'm sure he'll improve, I just hope it's enough to give our RBs some breathing room. This reminds me of the early 2000's--stop the run and dare Nebraska to pass.

Nebraska will only get better if they get better up front on both sides of the ball. Skill positions ain't shit without the big uglies.
