Give it up. The rush defense is the only stellar thing going on the defense, yet Coach Kaz has caused the crappy pass defense and the crappy 31 passes into a 25 MPH wind. Don't you understand?

Don't these coaches recruit player that aren't in their position group? They sometimes recruit other players and form a bond with them and probably don't just blow them off when recruiting is over. Hell, for all we know, maybe Kaz is talking to Lewis...

But this is individual players communicating with ex-coaches...they're not holding position group meetings or anything. Valentine and McMullen have been subpar, and also two of the ones Kaz is supposedly talking to. Not saying any of this is significant, but just pointing out that the D-line hasn't ALL been good. Best player so far was a TE last year.

The rush defense is good because that is what the scheme dictates. Unlike Bo's defense, we aren't dropping 7 into coverage all the time with two high safeties.
