Have a safe trip.

You're almost there when you see the water tower that looks like a hot air balloon.

Haha! Yeah, my mom lives in Grafton, just south of York. Driving up tomorrow and hitting up a tailgating spot some buddies have reserved. Should be a good time. Just hoping for the W.

Jordan burning his redshirt means bad news for other backs. If a coach is getting desperate that means he doesn't like or trust what he see in the other.

I think cross should play lb clearly his rb days are over

I have hopes it means Jordan is that good.

One Husker needs to step up and make a name for himself at every level.

DL, LB, DB
OL, WR, QB, RB,

Collins has stepped up for the most part, but I agree.

Defensive Line is their only real bright spot.

12th in rushing defense.

41st in sacks at 12 (2.4/game)

They averaged
2.2 in 2010 (45th)
1.6 in 2011 (84th)
2.2 in 2012 (48th)
3.0 in 2013 (T-7th)
2.2 in 2014 (55th)

It is undeniable that they're much better up front than they were last year. Even with theeeee great Randy Gregory.

This team wants to stop the run first, and is going to.

So how does that explain Kaz poisoning their minds? He was their position coach.

If there is a former corch poisoning the team, Kaz would be the least likely since his ex-unit is performing better than any other on the team, no?

I don't know. I mean I don't know how much I buy all that.

I just believe that when Bo and Kaz were here, they poisoned their minds, and it hasn't been fixed yet.

personally, i thought our bright spots were the LBs and FA. The LBs because of the injury devastation they have played way over the level i expected. i mean we are playing walk-ons for heavens sake and still getting pretty good performances. Young is a true freshmen and is pretty darn good, not the greatest at coverage, but no one seems to be that way.

FA is just so good for so little experience. Our DL finally stepped up in the last game, Collins did way more than he had in the first 4 games.

If the coaches don't give up on the run, Skers win, 19 -13.

If we pass 30+ times, Badgers win, 24 - 10.

Keeping my figures cross, the cute west coast offense is evolving to the reality of October in Nebraska.

I have no stats to back this up, but isn't one of the things we've seen so far is the D line not getting a ton of pressure? Obviously the sack stats are good, but one of the biggest complaints thus far was that the opposing QBs had so much time to throw, at least through the first couple games. It got better at times against Illinois, but the pass rush seemed to disappear at times then as well. IMO they've been better (at times) than the other units, but as has been mentioned on here a time or two, our secondary is not fantastic and our starting LBs haven't hardly played together all year.

I just like how we are closing up running lanes.

I mean, sweet Jesus........we've been watching teams run all over us the past few years. Is this not fun as shit for anyone else to see us play some run D????

Oh I love it. Our schedule was frontloaded with pass-heavy teams compared to the teams we will face down the road. For this conference and this division, stopping the run should be the number 1 priority. Now we DO need to stop the pass, at least a little bit
