Yeah, that was a fun basketball game to watch.....I had Husker's video on the computer, was streaming audio from the Dbacks first spring training game, and had the Coyotes hockey game on mute on the TV......that was a lot of sensory input to try and process all at the same time......

Kent Pavelka was out of control.......it was awesome to hear. After the game they were replaying bits and pieces of his play by play and Miles and them were busting a gut.

Yeah. It was a great comeback for the Huskers. Unfortunately for Iowa fans, Iowa was on the other side where they lost a great lead. It was a pretty disappointing day for the Hawkeyes yesterday.

Iowa lost to Nebraska. A loss that really put a hurtin' on Iowa's shot at the Big Dance.

#2 Iowa lost 2x at the National Duals in wrestling - first to Minnesota (which they tied in the conference meet and Iowa won by criteria, so not a bad loss) and they lost to Missouri (yeah, this was a loss that wasn't a good one).

and yes, Nebraska is dominating Iowa in sports, especially female sports.

I didn't like this thread wen I first saw it. I agree that we are winning in the 2 big sports and that's good. I just see beating Iowa is similar to beating Iowa State in the Big 12. It's good, but aren't we supposed to be beating them? Wisco proved again last night how far we need to go in both basketball and football. Difference between the 2? Basketball has every reason to have a positive outlook in the next 5 years. The next 5 years for football with the present coaching staff is much hazier. Sigh!

Not today!

Since there was no one more myopic than myself regarding the football team this year, it has been a long road for me to finally admit. As a fanbase, I think we all need to be a little more humble until we truly accomplish something. I thank God every day that we have such an easy schedule this football season.
