just read stevenson isn't even being looked at as a RB this year. that's why i don't get him burning the redshirt. you don't get to return but 2 or 3 kickoffs per game and i swear our paid ST coach doesnt' know how to maximize those so what's the point of paying him.
1. Stevenson was gonna leave if he had to sit out all this year. It is what it is...lots of talented RBs have a bit of an ego.

2. If that's not enough, when is the last time you heard of a great or even good running back sticking around for a 5th year? Most leave after 3 (4 with a RS) if they have even a chance in the NFL. Ameer was the exception to the rule. If he doesn't end up being that good, does having him for a 5th year help us much anyways?

Minnesota has won the last 2 (34-23) and (28-24).

Minnesota hasn't beaten Nebraska 3 straight since 1951-1954

1951: Minnesota (2-6-1) W (39-20)
1952: Minnesota (4-3-2) W (13-7)
1954: Minnesota (7-2) W (19-7)

Minnesota is (9-2) in it's last 11 Big 10 games vs unranked opponents.

The game is winnable. But I think Jerry Kill is a better coach.

I have almost completely changed my thoughts on next week's game. Since Michigan stuffed Northwestern run game, that proves Northwestern isn't really a throwing team, which I suspected. I am actually giving Nebraska a slight nod to winning against Northwestern right now.

I will know more after sitting in Minneapolis and watching live from way up high. My wife and I drive to Ames tonight, then up to Minneapolis tomorrow and spending the night in Minneapolis. I think they told me we can take the green line to the stadium.

In no way, shape or form, am I going to be talked into going to the Mall of America.

If we were gonna pull anyone rs why not the twin for the dline

I really can't imagine neb at 2-5. This team needs the bowl prep /extra practice they need a feel good story going into the off season

This is probably the last week of any hope of bowl or the slim chance of winning the west

Think it's a must win for Riley to get / keep players bought in. Hopefully DPE will be a difference maker. We definitely need one.
Anyone know how Minnie is with injuries? They were pretty beat up last week.

I have a good feeling for some reason for this game... I think they let Tommy run the zone-read a little more this game and it makes a huge difference.

I am not sure the coaching staff can coach us to a win. I think we have the talent but Riley and company are not using it. And God forbid is it is a close game because we all know what happens then. Myself, I have to go on a foliage tour.
