Nebraska Gains Transfer

An OL... could play Guard or Tackle... from Colorado chose to transfer to Nebraska. He will sit out 2013, but can play for two more years after that. He appeared in all 12 games for Colorado last season, starting three. He was a 3-star recruit out of Arizona in 2010.

He was born April 21, 1992 in Phoenix, Ariz. His father (Bill) played football at Nebraska and was the No. 191 overall pick by the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1986 NFL Draft and had a seven-year career, playing 71 games with the L.A. Raiders, Arizona and New England; he also at one time considered playing for Denver. A late growth spurt runs in his family: he grew six inches between his sophomore and junior seasons and then two more between his junior and senior years.

His Dad didn't just play at Nebraska.... he was an All-American at Center. Good bloodlines there indeed.

This is a really big pick up for us, we lose too many OL after next season and this kid already has 15 BCS starts under his belt. He'll also have 2 years to play. Basically we're getting a top JUCO OT that will be redshirting. Big get.

Looks like Lewis got into a fight last night he is being charged with 2counts of harrasment and 1 assault. And from what I read I think it might have been with the CU QB J webb
