Nebraska @ Colorado not on TV

However, looking at the bright side of things, every game that I haven't seen on TV this year Nebraska has won................listened to A&M on the radio (no tv for that game), and attended the Texas game in person..........then of course all the other OOC games that were on the radio that we won.

Also, listening to Kent Pavelka lose his shit on the radio is second to none..........for those of you who remember him from the Husker football days back in the 90s, check him out tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. He goes bonkers over Husker basketball.

Lunardi's new bracketology was released today.........he now has Colorado in the First Four Out and he moved Nebraska back to the Next Four Out.

Colorado didn't get punished at all for their loss to Iowa State.

JJM I think you're more into basketball sometimes than I think football, not that its bad but as a UGA fan, I know NEB and them are similar teams in a way(I'm Drunk) and I just think NEB will only break your heart. Here's hoping for the best and a bid to the tourney but I hope they don't mess with everyone and ruin it.

I am not into Nebraska basketball more than I am in to Nebraska football, I can guarantee you that............but I grew up actually believing that I would one day play basketball for Nebraska.........and ever since I was little I have just always loved them. I saw them lose so often, but when they won big games (like the one I saw against Texas this year ) it has felt so damn good. It's so rewarding to be a fan of an underdog team when they win games like that.

I've had a lot of people ask me what I get out of being a fan of Nebraska basketball...........they just don't understand it. People always want to be big fans of a team that has a chance to go all the way every year.............well, I'm different I guess. I'm a Husker, and I just plain love the Huskers. I root for all Husker sports, but I find that I have planted my heart and soul into the football and basketball teams for whatever reason.

I'm not sure to be honest...........I seem to remember some sort of disagreement taking place back in the 90's, but I can't be 100% for certain.

In Nebraska walk-on seniors are often starters........lol

That is due to the fact that we usually have maybe 1 guy who isn't a junior college transfer.

JJM--- I agree. First of all, Husker football is superior to everything in the world. But, I enjoy watching basketball as well and I love the Huskers.

Sure, I wish they were good every year, but they aren´t. We aren´t a bball school. Hopefully we will become more of a bball school over the next few years, what with the new arena and what I believe to be a very fine coach. The reason they are never good is because we never get above average college bball players. Almost never.

People ask you what you get out of being a Husker bball fan----Well, I guess they don´t know what it is to be a ¨fan¨ of a team then. You don´t just like a team cause they are good. I couldn´t imagine liking any other college team.

So, the Huskers have pretty much always been an average to below average to sucky team but I love watching them (except when Collier put teams on the floor who ran no discernable form of offense) and I love going to the games. You enjoyed the Texas upset this year------Here is one that always sticks in my mind----It was my best moment at a Husker bball game----1992, in overtime Jamar Johnson hits a three at the buzzer to knock off 3rd rated Kansas.


GBR----Beat the Buffs in what will probably be our last game with them for a long time. Win two games in the B12 tourny. Get in. Win your first ever game in the NCAA tourny.
