Nebraska @ #23 Minnesota -- 8pm CST on BTN

I've been excited all day for this game. If we play like we did on Saturday, we will win this game. If we play like we did against Illinois, we will lose by 20 points.

Here's the scoop. Minnesota is riding the wave of a 4-game losing streak. They were ranked in the top 10 just a few days ago.......hard ta believe. Hopefully they don't come out with some massive chip on their shoulder tonight.....but that's basically what Illinois did to us.

Nebraska on the other hand is riding a tsunami made up of 2 wins in the last 3 games!

It is very much apparent that a win tonight would be big.

Tnis is the kind of game where Minnesota fixes all that ails them tonight.

Here is where the problem lies for Nebraska tonight.......

Minnesota is #20 in the country in rebounds.......Nebraska is #257.

In comparison, Illinois is #164 in the country in rebounds, and they outrebounded us 38-27 on our home floor.........

We have to box out and hit the boards hard, or this game is going to be a blowout. We can't expect Minnesota to miss second-chance shots.......but our Defense is good enough to force a lot of first-chance misses.

Need to lock down those two guards shooting 50% from three too.

Yep. We're gonna need Ubel and Dre to play strong down low. We're gonna need a good chunk of time out of the big fellow in fact.....he's gonna have to suck it up and run tonight.

I think we'll be good against the guards with our Defense and the ridiculous condition that Miles has our players in right now. Our guards are running the floor like they have no off-button.

If we can come even close to winning the rebound battle, we should be there late in the game.

I put all 698 of my vCash on Nebraska +18.5......

It's a no-brainer for me. I understand the disadvantage that we're at with athleticism and rebounding ability, but I also understand the advantage that we have in every single game with our ability to play harder than our opponent.

I think we're confident enough right now that we can hang in this one.
