Calling timeout with 9 seconds on the shot clock was a horrid decision.

You lose 2 seconds just inbounding the ball, then you have 7 seconds to set up a play.

The ball was in Palmer’s hands, should have just let him do something with it. Oh well, it was a hell of an effort. I think this is an NCAA Tourney team. Gotta take care of business in these lighter games we have coming up.

Every time we got something going to hoop tonight we looked good but just absolutely fucking refused to do that on more than half the possessions. You know who plays like that? NIT invites.

That has to be one of the worst team performances in several weeks. And they still had a chance near the end to beat a ranked team on the road.

Palmer is a stud. But I think this proves that this team is at it’s best when multiple people are contributing offensively.

It was fun to watch Palmer but that was one of the most infuriating games offensively I’ve watched this year

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Ohio State played outatanding Defensively. The lane wasn’t open for driving, Palmer just kept finding a way. He was the only one who could do it. Big part of the reason why we ended up with so many open outside shots that we couldn’t hit.

Gill looked like a Freshman tonight on the big stage. Missed so many open shots.

That’s just it. This is where Miles either takes this team to the next level or he loses this team.

How good will he be at convincing these guys that all these lesser opponents are just as dangerous and winning is just as important as the big games like tonight.

We play with a passion to win against these kinds of teams. In order to make the tournament we need to play that way against everyone. Rutgers on the road on Wednesday is a must win. Absolute MUST win.

On the Offensive end of the floor yea, he’s all we had going. Roby was bad tonight. Glynn was AWFUL.

On the Defensive end we have to feel pretty good about the effort. We played like we knew we belonged with a team of that caliber. Bates-Diop was bound to cut loose eventually.....he’s going to do great things in the NBA.

Unfortunately with Nebraska’s current resume and futile history, a close loss at Ohio State probably does nothing for them in the selection committee’s eyes. Wins are all that matter.
