You guys just don't have much to move. I don't know that I like trading depth for one guy if I'm the Lakers anyway. Unless that one guy is a stud. Lowry is...but he's on the wrong side of 30.

I wanted us to get Hill rather than give up all the capital to get Lowry especially if it meant losing Thybulle.

I just want to know who the heck the Sixers will be playing at Center while Joe is still on the mend. Is Howard going to be playing 40 minutes a night?

Two thoughts- it’s time to get Paul Reed some run for like 10-13 minutes a game off the bench. He’s a 4 but that allows you to play Mike Scott minutes as a small ball 5.
- with George Hill here now, you can play Ben 8-10 minutes as a small ball center. His passing out of the post could be a real threat.

I think they may find something here that they can use as a change up in the playoffs whether that’s a group with Simmons as a small ball 5 or Reed giving them a bench boost with 7-8 minutes a game.

Obviously I’m not Doc but this is what I’d do at the 5 tonight and going forward:
Howard starts and gets 25 minutes
Scott plays 10-12
Simmons plays 10-12

I’m thinking that the inclusion of Bradley in the Hill deal means they’ve got a good feel on the state of Embiid’s knee. These closing games are big for keeping the one seed. If you get the one, you don’t have to beat BOTH the Bucks and Nets.

Obviously they have a plan and weren't too concerned about losing Bradley. Guess we just have to trust that they have something for tonight. Playing a Lakers team without AD and Lebron is a great chance to pick up a a road W but that got tougher without Bradley or any other warm body to put at the 5 I guess they just assume they go play small against this Lakers squad and the Clippers who aren't exactly a group of monsters.
