With it only being 2 weeks left, I suggest doing Top 4 for the championship. But instead of going head to head, do it as a two week total. So the top 4 starts with an even slate, who ever picks the most right in the final two weeks takes the cake. Everyone else can be in a 2 week consolation prize; whoever gets the most out of that group gets a smaller vcash prize.

And what do yall want to set the cash prizes at? And is it winner take all or should the runner up get something?

I think I'm going to go with this.

Maybe we should take a vote? I don't care either way.

Thoughts?

The problem I see with only top 4 is that others won't continue to play if they miss a week ( next year).
I suggest let everyone in who played the vast majority of weeks.

That's why there's a consolation group for a smaller vcash prize

I get that, but then you're awarding prizes to the 1st and 5th place finishers.
Last year, I believe the top 4? had a bye, so there was some meaning to doing well in the regular season.
Just my opinion.
@bksballer89 did most of the work, so I'm cool letting him decide.

I wasn't part of this last year, but I think the idea of the top 4 championship rounds makes sense. Although idc if we do something else, I figured it was just going to be games every week and whoever has the most wins at the end takes it.

Why not just wait until playoffs start to finish this?
We're going to be picking games where teams are already in rest/tank mode.

Agree. We can continue to pick games though and start the playoffs when the playoffs begin

The suggestion was more for this year. Doing head to heads doesn't really work since its only 2 weeks left

So what the hell you guys want to do? I'm going to post the games in a bit but have no idea how we're going about it.

If you guys don't want to carry this into the actual NBA playoffs, Im leaning towards probably just doing the best record from the top 4 over the next 2 weeks and same follows for 5-12.

Anyone oppose to this?

Is it possible to find enough games the next 2 weeks that actually mean something to
both teams playing?
If so, I suggest trying to only use them.

This week will be easy. Finding games next week will be a challenge

I don't like continuing it through the playoffs. I like keeping it separate since the playoffs are a different beast.

How about this; we do both.

We finish out the regular season with a Top 4 battle over the next two weeks while everyone else gets a break. Then when the playoffs start, everyone gets back in for a Playoff Pick'Em game.

Cash prizes for Regular Season: 2000 for 1st, 1000 for 2nd, 500 for 3rd, 250 for 4th

We can figure something else out for Playoff Pick Em
