Did the "all meat" diet quite a few years ago.

Thought it was a good way to lose weight fairly quickly...but yeah...the lack of carbs created a noticeable drop in energy. My body adjusted and some, but not all energy came back...but not completely until I started mixing in carbs again.

Its going to work well as a short term option but like you said, the energy loss is going to be noticeable.

Carter's a beast no doubt. And you're right those two would make a helluva combo.

I'm curious from a scheme prospective; isn't Carter more of an OLB Edge (as a former off-ball LB) than a DE? Plus, the 2nd DE is typically has more of an run-stuffing and edge-set responsibility. Does having two pass rush focused ends maybe leave gaps in that front?

I'm not sure, I don't follow Penn State football.

But doesn't he have an injury history? :noidea:

There is reportedly an injury concern. Not familiar with it, as my teams have no shot at him lol. Haven't looked into it.

Depends on the scheme employed. Both guys should be able to set an edge. Carter has only played DE for 16 games. I thought he was very good setting the edge vs run.

@trojanfan12 I see Ohtani hasn't pitched yet this year, isn't he supposed to do that again?

Yes, he's supposed to pitch again. Roberts gave an update a couple of days ago and said they are "a ways away" from it.

He's not even throwing off a mound yet.

Considering the money they're paying him (or will be lol)...they are no doubt taking it very slowly.

Makes sense I'm just stoked to see him back to doing both

Yep. Just play keep away. I think about the way the Eagles play football and they can easily possess the ball for 7-8 minutes and finish with 7 if they get the ball first. They could even potentially milk all 10 with some 4th and shorts, call time out and kick a walk off field goal with just 10 minutes.
with the rule being each team has to possess the ball wonder what happens if a team burns all 10......or is it written each team must possess OR 10 minutes?

Alright, but what if you are the 2024 Seahawks.

Just straight up average team.

What are you doing then?
I think no matter who I am I take the ball. Both teams don't score (or score the same amount) you get the 3rd possession.

I just hope they don't fuck up the # 2 pick. But knowing them they probably will.
THIS regime has never messed up a pick that high....hell, could even make a case the last guy did OK with picks in top 5.

But agree.....have to get it right. Hoping they love a QB and get him at 2. And of course works out.
