lol, wouldn't have Josh Allen so high a year ago. guy's actually starting to be somewhat scary. as far as Cheesecake Baker is concerned, i think one big factor has helped and Wamu said it the other day. the kid finally decided to grow up. maturity certainly helps...Yeah I mean can’t disagree with that. He looks to be 3rd in that class, 2nd as a passer bc of Josh Allen’s crazy, supernatural growth as an accurate passer lol. I put Lamar at 2nd bc he did win a MVP and he is easily the greatest athlete we’ve ever seen at the position by far, his legs sets up his passing ability but at times he makes great throws just still inconsistent. I feel like he is definitely a system guy as well but you could say that about a ton of QB’s. Either way as of right now I would take Baker for 3rd considering how great Allen has been and how dynamic Lamar is as well. If Baker keeps playing like he has been than he will jump to 2nd.

Mahomie didn’t? Uhh ohh Baker is a comin for ya lol
I think Stefanski helped a lot more, but definitely glad to see the kid has grown up some.lol, wouldn't have Josh Allen so high a year ago. guy's actually starting to be somewhat scary. as far as Cheesecake Baker is concerned, i think one big factor has helped and Wamu said it the other day. the kid finally decided to grow up. maturity certainly helps...
Josh Allen’s turnaround is crazy, it is almost a miracle type of turnaround. His hard work paid off changing his entire throwing motion and footwork he’s had his whole career. But what is crazy about it is how quickly it happened. 2 years ago he was shit, absolute shit. Last year was a big improvement but still he was average at best. Now he is elite, especially coupled with how much of an athlete he was already. I don't need to know the fake guru's data. If Baker is a quality franchise QB by simple math that is better than slightly above average even by your own flawed numbers.
32 QBs. slightly above average is 13-15th best.
If there are 20 franchise QBs as you said, the 10th best is average. stands to reason you'd need to be above that to be called quality.
He missed.

slightly above average QB does not = quality franchise QB in any world. You are the one who says your friend is wrong (and he is).
spin, dance, deflect, whatever...that wont change.
never mind the "expert analysis" that a QB would do well in a system that would suit his skillset and struggle in one that did not. Bet it took a lot of research and formulas to come up with that nugget.
Pure comedy.
You literally have no idea what you are talking about.
what's always funny is you being a walking contradiction and/or arguing with yourself as you are dong in this case in order to disagree. When I think someone's wrong, I'll usually explain why with logic, facts and reason as I did here. You? Deflection. Feel free to refute my math if you'd like or can just do the usual "I already did" when you haven't.You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Like no clue at all.
It is pretty funny really.
Try and stay focused. I don't disagree with your analysis of Baker. My disagreement is you saying this but saying your "expert" nailed it by calling him a slightly below average QB. Eli Manning is a slightly below avg. QB?Your problem is that you choose to make assumptions about what my words mean instead of asking me what they mean.
Then you take a semantical argument and beat it to ever living death.
Baker Mayfield is right in target to be what I said he would be. A good franchise QB. Not a superstar, an Eli Manning type.
Which is pretty much exactly what I said he could be if he maxed out his upside. And you should be happy with that because a lot of QBs drafted in the first round don’t live up to that.

My favorite, though, in all this has to be this pearl of wisdom that your guru came up with....... "a QB would do well in a system that would suit his skillset and struggle in one that did not"
Idea an NFL team has not hired him just for that type of insight is a headscratcher.

Once again before you reply to help you out.....I AGREE WITH YOUR ANALYSIS. I DISAGREE WITH YOUR EXPERT (and so do you it seems).
I get not in you to admit you are off base even when it is so painfully clear but you have to either just be messing with me or making a late push for a post of the year award.
after his comments on QBs being better in a system to suit their skills than not this seems obviousMy friend is no guru
But he does have real data that multiple NFL teams pay a lot of $ for. And yes, teams have tried to hire his company exclusively, but he makes a lot more money as a free agent.
Not making anything up but I did make a mistake, and as an adult it's one I will own. You did say he said slightly ABOVE average and those are the numbers I used as you can see (sorry for the confusion which was on me). If you recall I said 32 QBs, and said his grade would have him at 13-15 which would be slightly above (not sure why I was writing below which would be more like 17-19th best). My friend never called him slightly below average.
You have no idea.
And now you are making shit up.

Nope what I did was make a mistake by calling it below even though the numbers I used showed I knew he said above avg. Some form of dyslexia? No clue why.LOL.
Look at you moving the goal posts.
You literally took a piece of my quote “slightly above average” decontextualized it, then even changed it to “slightly below average”.
And even then, it was that Baker could be a slightly above average franchise QB with some bust risk. He is never going to be Aaron Rodgers or Pat Mahomes, but you can win with the guy if you have a good scheme.
Yes. Eli Manning perfectly incapsulates the type of QB I have been talking about all along as a Baker comp for his ability.
But you would rather pick apart semantics and make up your own narratives to try and “win” an argument.
