One day it will all make sense
Kills me every time I watch Metcalf.....could have just taken him (and not made OBJ deal).
Would have to think the current regime would undo all of that trade if they could.

agree....good to know he easily outplayed the opposing QB the last 2 such games and played as well or better than Carr in the other. The weather isn't going to be great in the last 3 games of the year.....not sure what it'll be like vs Baltimore in their next game.
This. Their schedule isn't that easy, especially since Mayfield has only had 2 good games recently.....the 3 prior were all substandard.
I think they'd keep Landry and Teller and undo the rest.Would have to think the current regime would undo all of that trade if they could.
I just can't recall a guy missing an entire season with an injury like this. Feels like his timeline has been undetermined the whole year. How is that a thing lol

Isn't it great to have a FO that doesn't make decisions on ego and which regime brings in a player? Guy lets go of quality players like Nassib and Ogbah to keep Chad Thomas? THIS regime could have easily dumped Teller but thought, maybe with adults coaching him he'll be a solid player.
It's mind-boggling. Like wtf...maybe he can recover next season but I feel like he is damaged goods at this point
guy was gifted picks 1, 4, 33 and 35 in a loaded draft. Hard not to add some decent talent there. and $100 mil+ in cap space.I assume you mean trades. He did have some decent signings.
His 2019 draft was awful though. And he nailed the 3 of the 4 top picks in 18.
I can't hate on him for taking Greedy at 46. Can't believe he's this injury prone tho

agree at time I was fine with the Greedy pick.
He's just too much like fans looking for splash moves and name players (who were once good but are now just overpriced) instead of fit. some solid FAs, though. completely whiffed on O-line in FA/draft
Do the Browns trade OBJ when he's healthy?
agree about Teller....but Zeitler was damn good when he was here in 2018. Guessing Callahan would have him playing well. Teller a better bargain and playing better though.Well Dorsey hiring Kitchens....wow, that in itself was TERRIBLE.
But if we look back at the trade the only player that I think the Browns would need is Jabril Peppers, yes that 16th pick would have been very useful but still an unknown of who they would have picked. Maybe a WR, maybe not. Zeitler was expensive and he isn't the player he once was.
OBJ wasn't the same player but injuries, if anything he has been a great decoy but in the end he hasn't helped Baker. Baker seems better with Landry and a bunch of guys.
So Peppers and the 16th could have been useful but if Zeitler stays maybe no Teller? And Teller has been one of the best guards. Crazy they traded a 5 and 6 for him and a 7.
Either way, even the secondary being their weakness last year they've held it together and they secondary pieces look good for the future.
Ward
Greedy? Still an unknown
Delpit. I mean I think if he can stay healthy he has a high ceiling
Harrison. Another guy dumped for a measly 5th round pick.
I do like Kevin Johnson and Mitchell for depth but they are nothing special. Suitable replacements 3rd and 4th string CB's.
Also, not sure who that MJ Stewart guy is but he stepped up and made some plays. It looks like he has only played in basically 4 games this year.
Tough call.....I think they give it a shot to see if he can buy in, run the correct routes and help this team.Do the Browns trade OBJ when he's healthy?
Have to agree LV owned us that game. Even with more guys out we played far better than they did against them. No excuse not being able to stop the run when they knew Carr could not throw downfield.

The talk about beating good teams/bad teams so overblown. I mean, if LV does not get their miracle win the Browns go from 2-3 against good teams to 2-2....by doing nothing themselves.DJ being obsessed with his team beating another team is funny. Yesterday he brought up the Raiders beat the Saints in week. Raiders may have quality wins over the Saints, Chiefs, and Browns but still may miss the playoffs

Mostly agree.....but think they have an easy enough schedule they could get in. They need to beat Indy.Yep and I think people still think of that team as the team that beat KC and NO wins...just bc you beat a team once especially early in the season doesn't mean you are now the better team. Makes zero sense. LV isn't even in the same league as those two teams.
But if he wants to hang his head on a win over CLE in a rainy wind storm 40 mph without Nick Chubb he can do that but LV likely still isn't making the playoff, like you said lol
