Belichick had his team at 11-5 despite being the Browns, but was then torpedoed (and cast aside) by the process of the Browns running to Baltimore. Modell killed that final year in Cleveland.

Pete Carroll was .500 or above in each of his 3 seasons in NE with two playoff appearances.

Both are not good comparisons to Allen.
Modell was definitely figuring things out on the field but he and the FO sure left something to be desired in the draft/FA with some pretty bad picks and signings in his last year or 2.

I was referring more to the whole move process that really killed that season. Belichick had that time on the rise, only to have the following season thrown into disarray.

The move definitely hurt him and the team......but having Sapp fall in his lap and then trading down to take Craig Powell instead didn't help matters. Nor did signing Andre Rison or previous botched #1 picks (Vardell, Langham)

Point is they both grew and part of the reason they were mediocre-ish was the franchises they were tied to at the time. With the Patriots, Bob Kraft had just bought the team in the mid-90's, so likely was getting his footing as an owner. The point being is that you can grow as a coach. I never said Dennis Allen would be a BB or Pete Carroll; more using them as examples that you can grow.

Anyone hear about this? It's a cool story.

An 11 year unexpectedly lost her father & grandfather shortly before a daddy/daughter dance in Texas. Her mother tried reaching out to her daughter's favorite player Eagles S Anthony Harris.

Harris not only said he'd do it. He paid for the kids dress, shoes, hair & make up.

Holy shit, talk about some names from the past.

Rison. Didn't his GF set his mansion on fire back in the day?

Powell. Sounds kinda familiar. Former Buckeye?

Vardell. Well he was no touchdown Tommy In Cleveland.

Yes...Powell was a Buckeye. Solid LB. Never above STs for the Browns really. Also yes to Rison and burned house.

Sickening how bad those guys were here but many went on to great success after they left in the FO - Polian, Dimitroff, Savage, Ozzie, among others.

I love the Bengals story but it is hard to see them winning on Sunday.

They need bad Stafford to show up IMO to have a real chance.

Idk how they slow down Beckham and Kupp then don't know how that oline stop Donald and the boys from living in the backfield
I’m rooting for the Rams but it just feels like the Bengals are winning this. I’m expecting a very good game.

If the Bengals pull this off I will be convinced that the Devil lost his contract with Tom Brady and has now purchased the soul of Joe Burrow to replace it.

Also thinking about taking a flyer on Von Miller MVP. That OL is poor and he’s won MVP before. Aaron Donald will get the attention and Miller gets the one on one vs somebody from that OL.

Going to use this on one. Plan on placing 5 of these. All $5 bet.

Odds for this score is +19000 so that gets me 950 if it hits.
Good luck man, line is actually up to 4.5 Rams but I would be going for the odds too
