The rules are the rules. Official must touch the ball to spot it. The ref was hustling his tail off to get in position to do his job.

Dak and the Cowboy line made it impossible to do.

Not true. The traditional play clock is 40. You can do that math. They gave the 49ers 25 seconds there instead

And if you want to talk about time, Dallas got more than they should have. Refs put 1:04 back on the clock without resetting the play clock AND the home clock operator magically added 2 seconds on the 9er 4th down penalty.

You are saying it should have been 1:13 with a 25 second clock. Did you want the refs to intentionally rob the 49ers

Wrong.

Play clock starts as soon as the play before ends.

The clock is supposed to keep running as the refs spot the ball.

If you want them to reset the clock to 1:13, then they would need to reset the play clock to 40 seconds and Dallas would have had even less time.

I think GB wins because of Rodgers, but if Garrapolo can play a clean game SF can definitely win.
