My mistake judge was there 2 seasons. Barkley missed last year and was hurt this season as well. Danny Dimes missed basically the entire 2nd half this year. Injuries to key players need to count for something when evaluating coaches

are the Raiders really not strongly considering the interim? Admittedly, I don't know much about him but cannot think of many interims who made playoff runs in a really tough division.

I'm sure they're considering him. He got them to the playoffs. But a team will sometimes catch fire under an interim. If that's what happened here, they could end up regretting it if they do hire him.

On the other hand though, the Raiders dealt with a lot of shit beyond Gruden leaving and the team held together through all of it. It seems likely that he was part of the reason for that.

Here's a question...if the Raiders win a playoff game...don't they almost have to give him the job?

Exactly what I was getting at. Sometimes it is best to stay a coordinator imo and wait for the right job instead of the first job

He was projected as the first receiver off the board, atound 6. As long as the surgery goes well he prob won’t drop a lot, some though.
