I don’t think the late timeout was a big deal, Raiders were trying to get in fg position anyway. But going for it from your own 19 in the first half is just not smart.

Something analytics doesnt take into account is that it is disrespectful to the defense.

One of the best ways to give them extra motivation to stop you is to go for it in that situation.

Brandon Staley lost that game for him and he's made a ton of questionable decisions over the season. Yes they seem to be very good on 4th down but there are times where you just don't take that risk. I've seen him it multiple times throughout the season. I get being aggressive but he was taking it to a different level.
