2nd half of the season been such a disaster

I went from expecting a win before every game while he was here. Since his injury i been expecting the complete opposite

I get that Semian is pretty awful, but so is Taysom Hill.

I feel like I am watching Tim Tebow out there.

Using Hill as a straight back up and not in his usual joker role was really bad. He is the only playmaker in the Saints offense.

But he is a bad QB.

Hill dreams of ever becoming a full time QB ended tonight. If he dares try to fight for a starting qb job on any team in the league then you just throw on this game tape and look at him in disgust

Saints need to go back to their old philosophy. Have 2 real qbs and use Hill as an emergency QB as they done in previous years when they had Brees/Teddy and Brees/Jameis

That can't be true. Payton can't be that silly.

I would try to acquire Russ first assuming he demands a trade. If not then bring back Jameis and another real QB as his backup for any possible injuries

Yeah, they had that drive where they ran Taysom like 4 times in 5 plays and marched right down the field.

Then they never called another designed run for him again and left Taysom in the pocket.

3 interceptions insured.

Pretty easy to figure out why. At least roll him out and use the threat of the run.

Ok and that was in comparison to Sieman. He is still the better option and should have been the starter after Jameis went down due to his ability to run the ball

Honestly I don’t know why they ever gave Hill that contract in the first place.

Don't get too caught up in the numbers. Just like the previous contract he will not see most of the money. He is at his best when he isn't trying to be a QB

You are so dumb. The search box on SportsHoopla is great for reasons such as this. 2 post after this i stated i agreed with @tlance that Cam is better and explained my reasoning for why i would still go with Hill in that situation.

I agree but it would be a slap in the face to Hill not to give him the job so i think out of loyalty they likely give him the job

Unfortunately I know how that is. For the Chiefs Mecole Hard man was drafted to become Tyreek H 2.0, but he's never really developed that way...

Saints did something similar when they drafted trequan smith in the 3rd or 4th round. They had hopes he would be a #2 and now at best he is an avg #3.

WR should be the top priority after qb in the offseason

I would love if the Tribe could trade for Sean Murphy of the A's. A's are going to have a firesale once business opens back up. Olsen, Murphy--- probably one of Bassit and Montas are gone. Chapman prob. gone. Laureano prob. gone.

If the Guardians can get a Reynolds or Conforto or Schwarber, etc.....and a decent 1B--- like a Voit....theyd be right there.

there is a reason why the Indians/Guardians have the most wins in the American League over the last 10 years.

it took a slashed payroll during COVID, tons upon tons of injuries, and Francona getting sick to get them to 80-82.

The beginning of your last comment is what is sickening. Cut the payroll? I guess, if you need to....but slash it to rock bottom in what could be a contending window? why even own a team?
