The issue is Patricia is not a very personable guy. I can’t remember who it was but he really alienated a very good player in Detroit. Now he has to recruit, we will see.

But the easy way to recruit against BB is remind them his age and convince the recruit BB will either be retired or back in the NFL shortly....and this is probably true.

I would guess that is true for a lot of pro athletes.

Basically said that winning isn’t what motivates him. It is dominating his matchup.

Yep and didn't sound like he did not want to win......just that he found the climb so to speak to be what motivates him.

when I first heard this thought maybe he asked out to go play with a team that passed more.

That wasn’t the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it. It was just his opinion.

It was wild that he would rather win a matchup vs a DB than win a SB. I don’t view them as the same. He’s done plenty of that his entire career from the HS level but some players never get a chance to even play in a SB. I would think that winning those matchups leads to the ultimate prize—-winning games and then eventually the biggest game.

He’s a weird dude like so many NFL WRs. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him traded this off season.
